Facts about Park Royal Mall

Did you know Park Royal was Canada’s first covered shopping mall? Park Royal, the part we now call the North Mall, opened in 1950. The original anchor store was Woodwards.

Being located near the British Properties, developed by the Guinness family, Park Royal was named after a London, England suburb where a Guinness’ brewery was located.

Park Royal’s South Mall opened in 1978. The Village opened in 2004. All three elements of Park Royal provide 1,000,000 square feet of retail space and is home to 280 stores.
