Mirror Sailing Dinghy

The next 2010 events dinghy race at Hollyburn Sailing Club is the Summer Series #1 and the Mirror Series #2 on Sunday 25-Jul-10.

The Summer Series is open to boats of any class whereas the Mirror Series is for the Mirror class, 10’ 10” (3.3m) prams that are popular with many Hollyburn Club members. The Jack Holt designed Mirror, carries a crew of two and is one of the smallest boats to use a spinnaker. The blunt pram bow and distinctive red sails are the easy marks to spot a Mirror.

The races start at 1:00PM with a skippers meeting at the head of the ramp around 12:30PM. The day winds up with socializing and banter over the days events in the club house around 5:00PM.
