The next 2010 events dinghy race at Hollyburn Sailing Club is the Laser Cup and Albacore "Tuna" Cup to be held on 15-Aug-2010 between 1:00PM and 5:00PM. All boats and sailors are welcome.
The Uffa Fox designed Albacore is a 15ft plaining dinghy that is popular with Holyburn Club members. Albacore, Wayfare and Enterprise are all very similar boats with the Wayfare being the longest at 15' 10". The Enterprise is the smallest at 13' 3".
The races start at 1:00PM with a skippers meeting at the head of the ramp around 12:30PM. The day winds up with socializing and banter over the days events in the club house around 5:00PM.
